Mary Youngblood 1958-

Mary Youngblood loved to play music when she was a girl. She learned to play the piano, the violin, the classical flute, and the guitar. When she became an adult, she learned about her Native American heritage. Then she studied the Native American flute. She is the first woman to play the Native American flute professionally. In 2003, she won a Grammy Award for her playing.
