George Washington Carver was born on a farm in Missouri. He learned to take care of sick plants. George studied hard and became a great scientist. He discovered many ways to use peanuts. He also invented a way to keep farm soil healthy. Because of his invention, farmers today can grow healthier crops. peanuts
