In this Unit you've learned about the lives of the Native Americans who first lived in North America. Peoples like the Navajo, Pueblo, Tlingit, Lakota, and Iroquois once thrived here.
They survived without heated homes, restaurants, or electricity. How on earth did they do it? How does your life compare to the Native Americans who once lived in your region of the United States? Here are some questions to help you write a report that compares and contrasts your life with Native Americans of the past:
What region do you live in and which Native Americans once lived here?
What kind of food did they eat?
What kind of homes did they live in?
What kinds of problems did they encounter?
What are some of their accomplishments?
