Unit 3: People Long Ago

Children will step back in time to experience how families, including Native Americans lived long ago. Children will be invited to think about how many things change over time. They will be introduced to the father of our country, first president George Washington. They will learn that Pilgrims sailed to America long ago for freedom. They will discuss how they celebrate their freedom and compare that with they way people in South America celebrate their freedom.
