Unit 1: Families and Neighbors

With an emphasis on culture, children learn about families, school, and neighbors. Within a family, we learn about rules, customs, and events families celebrate. We also learn about school, the importance of rules at school, and how school can introduce us to different cultures. We learn about our neighbors and neighborhoods.
