One Native American named Squanto knew how to speak English. He stayed with the Pilgrims and showed them how to fish, hunt, and grown food.
By fall, the Pilgrims had lots of food and made a big meal. Squanto and the Native Americans came to the meal. The Pilgrims thanks God for their new friends and for all the good things that had happened. |
