Communities at Work
Some people in San Antonio are construction workers. They build houses, libraries, offices, and stores for their community. In 1998 the citizens of San Antonio helped each other during a flood that damaged their city.
Community Fun
Everyone in San Antonio enjoys the Fiesta in April. The festival celebrates Texas’ independence. Other ways to have fun include visiting the Garza Community Center. The community center has special classes and sports activities.
