In 1975, the United States Postal Service issued “Contributors to the Cause,” a series of commemorative stamps to honor unsung heroes of the Revolutionary War. Think about the roles Anthony Wayne, James Forten, and Molly Pitcher played in American history. Select one of these Pennsylvanian patriots and draw a commemorative postage stamp to honor this “Contributor to the Cause.”
