About the Site
The United States Housing and Urban Development (HUD) sponsors this Web site that graphically helps children explore new places, specifically parks and libraries. On the park field trip, children will enjoy an animated, interactive tour of four areas of a park where they can discover new facts about park monuments, trails, first aid, and more.
What to Do
Have children click Field Trip and then Park. Be sure they click the picture tour rather than the animated tour. Help children navigate the Visitor's Center, and then explore Nature Trail, Historic Sites, and More Info.
