About the Site

This Web site contains photographs of unusual pets with their owners or with other animals. It features lions, tigers, pumas, iguanas, and other uncommon pets. You may want to preview the site to become familiar with the animals shown.

What to Do

  1. Discuss with children the difference between common and unusual pets.

  2. Have volunteers identify the unusual pets shown. Read the names for them if necessary.

  3. Remind children to click the Back arrow after they view an enlarged picture.

  4. If time permits, have children click More BoF! Page #2 for more pictures.
