Answer the questions below using the pictures on the Web site.
- In the first picture, what two plane figures do you see?
- Look for the picture of an angle. Is the angle a right angle, less than a right angle or greater than a right angle?
- Look for a picture showing the frame of the doghouse. Which part of the doghouse shows triangles?
- Which parts of the doghouse show parallel lines?
- In The Gallery, look at the first doghouse in the first row. What shape is one of the purple boards on the front of the roof?
- Look at the fourth doghouse in the first row. Which part of the doghouse is a closed figure, but not a polygon?
- Look at the seventh doghouse in the first row. Describe where you see a trapezoid.
- What other plane figures do you see in the seventh picture?
- What 3-dimensional figures can you identify in the seventh picture?
- Look at the first doghouse in the second row (doghouse #9). Name all of the plane figures that you can find.
- The builder of doghouse #9 said that the floor is 4 ft by 4 ft. Draw a model of the square floor. Show the feet. What is the perimeter of the floor?

Today I explored a Web site about building a doghouse. I found that a doghouse with a 4 ft by 4 ft floor has the perimeter of feet.
